An initiative has begun to change the AccessPlus four digit login PIN to a six to eight character password. The transition period will begin February 18, 2004. It affects all faculty, staff, students, and affiliates that use AccessPlus. The transitional period will occur over the next several months giving individuals the opportunity to convert their existing PIN to a password when convenient.
When you change your AccessPlus PIN, you will be required to set a password that is six to eight characters, including at least one letter and one number.
New students (undergraduate degree seeking students beginning Summer 2004 term or after) are currently assigned a password rather than a PIN through the Admission's acceptance process.
New employees will use a default PIN (birth month/day) and will be required to change it to a secure password during their first AccessPlus login.
A secret question is available to better manage passwords in AccessPlus. It is important to set the secret question as soon as possible to allow for easier access to your account when you become locked out or forget your password. By answering the secret question you will be able to retrieve your password without making a trip to campus.
For additional security, your password should be different from any other passwords that you would use for other electronic services (i.e., Novell and WebMail).
When you change your AccessPlus PIN to a password, your new password will be the same password that you use when logging into AccessPlus and ISUAS/ADIN. Once you change to a password in AccessPlus, you will use the password for both systems. Subsequent password changes in either system will change the password in both systems. The only difference will be your login. For ISUAS/ADIN you will use your NetID to login, and for AccessPlus you will use your Social Security number or University ID. If you forget your password, go to AccessPlus and answer your secret question to regain access.

Your AccessPlus and ISUAS/ADIN password will be the same.
