Change Novell Password (Mac OS X)
- Log out of all NetWare servers: Drag all NetWare server icons on your Desktop to the Trash.
- Select Connect to Server... from the Go menu.
- Type in your Server Address and click Connect. If you don't know your server address you can find it in the following list (Mac OS X 10.3 users will see these listed under Favorite Servers):
- adpph1.adp.iastate.edu
- athls001.adp.iastate.edu
- lascs001.adp.iastate.edu
- provs001.adp.iastate.edu
- urels001.adp.iastate.edu
- vpsas001.adp.iastate.edu
- Enter your username in the Name field.
- Click Options...
- Click Change Password...
- Enter your old password in the Old password field.
- Enter your new password in the New password field.
- Enter your new password again in the Confirm password field.
- Click OK. You will see a message that your password has been changed. (Pressing the Return key will result in an error. You must click OK.)
- Select the Server Volumes you want to log back into from the Apple Menu.
Change Novell Password (Mac OS 9)
- Log out of all NetWare servers: Drag all NetWare server icons on your Desktop to the Trash. Select Log Out Completely from the NetWare menu.
- Select Login from the NetWare menu.
- Enter your username in the Name field.
- Click Set Password.
- Enter your old password in the Old password field.
- Enter your new password in the New password field.
- Enter your new password again in the Retype new password field.
- Click OK. You will see a message that your password has been changed.
- Select the Server Volumes you want to log back into from the Apple Menu.
