Change Novell Password (Mac OS X)

  1. Log out of all NetWare servers: Drag all NetWare server icons on your Desktop to the Trash.
  2. Select Connect to Server... from the Go menu.
  3. Type in your Server Address and click Connect. If you don't know your server address you can find it in the following list (Mac OS X 10.3 users will see these listed under Favorite Servers):
  4. Enter your username in the Name field.
  5. Click Options...
  6. Click Change Password...
  7. Enter your old password in the Old password field.
  8. Enter your new password in the New password field.
  9. Enter your new password again in the Confirm password field.
  10. Click OK. You will see a message that your password has been changed. (Pressing the Return key will result in an error. You must click OK.)
  11. Select the Server Volumes you want to log back into from the Apple Menu.

Change Novell Password (Mac OS 9)

  1. Log out of all NetWare servers: Drag all NetWare server icons on your Desktop to the Trash. Select Log Out Completely from the NetWare menu.
  2. Select Login from the NetWare menu.
  3. Enter your username in the Name field.
  4. Click Set Password.
  5. Enter your old password in the Old password field.
  6. Enter your new password in the New password field.
  7. Enter your new password again in the Retype new password field.
  8. Click OK. You will see a message that your password has been changed.
  9. Select the Server Volumes you want to log back into from the Apple Menu.
