Change Outlook Password (Mac OS)

Due to the migration to Active Directory your Outlook password can no longer be changed from within the Microsoft Outlook 2001 application. There are two possible methods to change your Outlook password.

Method 1: Using Outlook Web Access

Note: This method does not work when using Internet Explorer 5.x for the Mac.

1. Log in to Outlook Web Access at http://exchange.iastate.edu/.
2. Click on the Options along the lefthand side of the page.
3. Scroll down until you see the Password section.
4. Click the Change Password button.
5. Enter iastate in the Domain field.
6. Enter your NetID in the Account field.
7. Enter your old password in the Old password field.
8. Enter your new password in the New password field.
9. Enter your new password again in the Confirm new password field.
10. Click OK.

Method 2: Using Acropolis

1. Log in to Acropolis at http://asw.iastate.edu/.
2. Click on the Manage User YourUserName link.
3. Click on the Change your Password link.
4. Verify that your Net-Id is entered on the Net-Id field.
5. Enter your old password on the Old Password field.
6. Enter your new password on the New Password field.
7. Enter your new password again on the (and again) field.
